Qualified to take clients though Class 5 rapids, Krista has always respected the grandeur and the power of the water and earned certifications in Wilderness First Response and Swift Water Rescue. More recently as an ASA-certified sailing instructor with the Great Hudson Sailing Center and the Manhattan Yacht Club Sailing Center, Krista taught sailing in New York City Harbor and the Caribbean. The next step for her was to sail the big boats. She earned a 100 Ton US Coast Guard Captain’s License with a Sailing Endorsement, and led daysailing excursions in the New York Harbor for two years. When you are ready, we are there. Our full day sail starts in Old San Juan like all our others. From there we head out of the bay and sail west towards the beautiful Punta Salinas Bay. Here the waters are calm, the beaches are beautiful and the reefs are plentiful. This is the perfect area for swimming, relaxation, and snorkeling in the reefs. If we are lucky enough you can see sea turtles, dolphins, and lots of other marine life.
